Description:
The profile of Charles Mingus was made at one of the early Newport
Jazz Festivals, around 1959 or '60. One of the major forces in jazz
in the mid-century, Charles was, most of the time, "impatient."
He was difficult to work with and for, but the music was grand,
and lasting. He was a most original composer.
Prints are 11"x14" or 16"x20"
Each silver gelatin print is handmade and signed by Herb Snitzer.
